The Lathe kit includes an 0-10VDC analog output for programmable spindle speed control and constant surface speed support. Constant surface speed means you simply set a chip load for a particular tool, and no matter what radius you’re cutting at, the control automatically adjusts the spindle speed to compensate. The end result is superior surface finishes and extended tool life. In addition, the AjaxCNC lathe kit supports handwheel operation for part setup and manual machining.

Tool turrets, tail stocks, and other accessories can be controlled by programming the built in PLC.

You can even use this Lathe kit with your original servomotors and power supplies. If you don’t have servomotors, no problem! AjaxCNC stocks a wide range of CNC Components to complete any retrofit.
