The Digitizing option directly creates a g-code program
by copying any solid object. *This option requires our DP-4 touch probe (available below, sold separately).
Included with the digitizing option is our Mold Magic
software. Mold Magic will automatically create roughing
and finishing passes using different sized tools and
step-overs for easy machining of a digitized part. Mold
Magic can also reverse any part program to make a mold
from a plug and vise versa. In addition, the digitized
part can also be exported to a CAD/CAM system for modification
then reposted to the AjaxCNC control. .

DP-4 Touch Probe with Probing Cycles |

The DP-4 touch probe is used to quickly setup your
fixtures and parts. Our state-of-the-art DP-4
touch probe is extremely accurate and has a very light
trigger force so any rigid surface that will withstand
a few PSI of pressure can be digitized.
Probing accurately sets zero points,
finds edges, center locations of bosses and bores, edges
of slots and webs and more. You'll never have to spend
30 minutes using a center finder to locate the center
of a bore again. The Ajax probe will find and set the
center of a bore in just seconds. And it is accurate
down to a tenth!

This very accurate tool setter plugs into your control
and will automatically and quickly measure and set tool
lengths. The control automatically seeks the TT-1 with
the tool and measures the tool length to whatever the
accuracy of your machine is, usually within a tenth!
This method is much faster and more accurate than the
old piece of paper technique. If you are constantly
changing tools to machine different types of parts you
need this option. It will pay for itself in no time.

inaccurate methods of tapping with floating and reversing
tapping heads. You not only get standard rigid tapping,

drive. You'll never have to drip feed or break up a part

to not only call on sub-programs, but also to create

include programming with conditional statements such

within a line of code for operations like indexing a
serial number across many parts.
